Tell me about DECH's - ALSO POST PICS OF NICE/YOUR FAV FOX STANGS

I'm not sure if I like that kit very much... The front bumper looks nice but the side skirts are too curvey for a fox.

    x-pipe vs. h-pipe

I heard most x's are meant for straight-through mufflers, and h's are for chambered muffs. I don't think it matters though, a lot of people mix them up.

    Clutch pedal question

You'll need to buy a billet firewall adjuster to adjust your clutch engagement point. What it does is replace the rubber gromet on the firewall where the clutch goes through with a 2 piece, threaded adjuster. To make the clutch engage higher, you'll need to screw it outward, thus putting more...

    Paint Touch-ups: DIY or pro?

I generally think of it this way: If the place you need to touch up is clearly visible, and paint blending is required, then have a pro do it. I take care of all the little things myself like rust under the door panel and in the hinges and weatherstripping and such. I have a spot on the...

    Brake fluid leak

Thanks for the reply, btw. How do you go about removing just the cap? By cap, you mean just the hex shaped piece with the hole in it, right? Is it a good idea to bleed the whole system after changing out the pv/cap?

    Brake fluid leak

I found a picture of the cylinder assymbly. The fluid is leaking out of where the arrow is pointing to. I guess that's called the junction block, as Michael was saying. Edit: I just found out it's called the proportioning valve.

    Brake fluid leak

For a few days now I've had a light browninsh leak that I thought was the usual oil leak but it's actually brake fluid, as I found out today, because it sort of splashes onto the ground unlike oil. It seems to be coming from that plug directly under the master cyllinder. It's a hex-shaped...

    MM Quadrant & Adjusters

Well I put in the quadrant and firewall adjuster tonight, and couldnt be happier with the results. I adjusted the clutch so it engages at right about the middle. Loosening the cable (turning the adjuster towards the firewall) lowers the engagement point, while tightening the cable (turning the...

Trans whines at 5300rpm+...what causes that?

My 3rd gear starts whining at 2500 RMP+ and gets louder and louder if I floor it. I've never brought it to over 5k, but it vibrates pretty hard up there. No other gears do that though. It's got a fresh load of Dextron too.
