    I recently changed mine too when I put in the new driveshaft a couple days ago. I just noticed a new bead of tranny fluid on the end of the T-5 today. :( I don't even get how that thing is supposed to "seal" anything anyway...the end of the rubber part is open. :shrug: I did not use RTV on...

    Alright I got a quote from a small local shop called Midnite Auto for a full clutch/flywheel job for about $250-300 if I supply the parts. I'm still open to doing it myself, but it seems like a pretty good deal, and one of the guys owns an '88 5.0, so he probably knows what he's doing. Anyway...

    You don't have to take apart the whole filter assembly to check for an air silencer, just reach up into the fenderwell and feel around for a big plastic horn.

    That $125 one doesn't look like an FRPP driveshaft...I don't know if that means it's better or worse, but I'd take a guess that FRPP is better quality. I've been looking into getting one of these too.
