What tank to use when switching to fuel inj w/ return line?

Definitely use the Ron Morris Piece. You can easilly find an external fuel pump, just pay careful attention to it's mounting location. Run new fuel lines with all parts, and connections that will take the higher fuel pressure. Cannibalize a newer car if you can. This way you keep the stock...

    1968 8"mustang rear end in 1966 Mustang

Yup, 1" to wide per side. If you want to junkyard scrounge, look for old V-8 Falcons or Fairlanes. Or, different rims or body mods. What about spring pad mounting locations, u-joints, parking brake, and other items associated with the rear swap? Definitely a new driveshaft with the AOD and...

WTF is this noise, and why is it happening??

Agreed. If the Cobra valve covers you have are the standard ones, they will not clear the roller rockers, and they'll hit the oil and pcv baffles. I had the same issue issue with my aluminum covers with the GT-40 heads, so I machined the baffle mounts higher up so there was clearance. Quick way...

Would love input. 68 and 69 Mustangs need a lot of TLC

Wow, lots to do! First off, the washing will be many steps, no powerwashing! Sponge, car wash, strong soap, keep at it until you get it back to the paint. Then a good compounding and waxing. Have a detailer do that with an orbital polisher. Sounds like it can come back pretty good. Same with...

To my knowlege, in 1969 the Mach 1 did have the deluxe interior with some special features, including the red carpet pads and red band in the hi-back seats. The Grande's had the deluxe interior with black carpet pads and standard seats with headrests, and a cloth material. I can gues that the...

    Just wondering...

Everything totally depends on the condition of the car you end up purchasing. Make sure you buy a V-8 model, since you are looking at the 5.0 conversion. Parts can be replaced, rust is an expensive fix. Buy the body style you want now, so you are truly working on what you want. And use...
