    It's best to wait 5,000-10,000 miles for fully synthetic oil, i'd wait about 8,000. If you use Synthetic oil with a new engin the rings will not seal properly.

    K&N installation

    1 other suggestion, i've herd that removing the silencer may void your warrenty if a mechanic notices it, so if your ever having car problems be sure to put it back on.

    I took my Air silencer off and added a K&N drop in to my V6. There was a very slight power increase at the top of the gear, not much.
