    So lets say you want 400RWHP. Would it be safer to get by using a 6# kit and changing either the cams or heads? This way you would'nt have as much boost in the motor . Or would the 9# kit be the way to go. Is 400 the hypothetical number before trouble?

    Not to hijack the thread, I was going to post something similar. Has anybody blown a motor yet with a KB 2-valve kit? Or is this unit better at thwarting detonation than a centrifugal?

    Any dealer that does that would be stupid. Ford expects to sell 150K to 180K or more a year. Its not like the GTO which is somewhat a limited car.

    IMO that the notch is horrible. Does'nt flow like an old coupe. On the other hand the fastback I like better than the 05. The 05 resembles a 65-66 fastback. Photochop resembles a 67-70 fastback. I've always been partial to those.:D

    On McCarvilles site they said its made by ARVIN. ARVIN is the manufacturer of the stock exhaust.

    So if you pay $2500.00 to $3000.00 for the initial kit. And then have to buy the install kit for the above price. Then there's no real gain to buy this kit over the KB 6lb.

    Did you buy the car used? If so there might have been a poweradder installed at one time. To blow a headgasket at 47K just doesn't add up.
