    When you start getting into the 14's with A/F after prolonged racing hard driving or just a long cruise on the highway you will start putting holes in pistons.

    No its not supposed to be like that. On most tuned cars the A/F will be between 12.7 and 13.1 from about 2500 to redline. On a stock car it will start in the high 12's and waterfall down into the lower 12's or high 11's. If it is spiking that rich you have a problem.

    I put jackstands under the suspension on all 4 corners and then measured and made sure everything was square before I did any welding.

    Dude I took mine out and it is a cheap ass made in taiwan old school type of switch. The sad thing is the harness has been cut and adapted to this switch.

    Thermostat help please

    Well define the tstat housing. I define it as the elbow that the upper radiator hose connects to. If you are talking about the piece that the stat actually sits down into then its either replace the entire intake if it is plastic or replace the crossover if it is aluminum.

    I went with eibach on my car and the ride and look is way better than stock. It took me 1.5hrs to do.

    Reach up under the dash and there is a button on the switch itself you have to press it down and pull on the switch at the same time.

    Sorry about that my internet crashed. Yes the housing could be cracked and it is just 2 bolts that hold it on. I would have it pressure checked first so you know exactly where the leak is.

    There is only a rubber o-ring that seals it.

    No all of the tests were with ported PI heads they did use some of comps nonPI grinds.
