    I haven't had the time to peruse the entire thread here but blown head gaskets aren't uncommon effects of increased cylinder pressure. This would apply to plenty of power adder combinations. Good bolts, good gaskets and good mating surfaces are the keys to keeping the head gaskets in one...

    Thanks!! It's not as good of a story as one might think, I tripped up the stairs over my dog and fractured my tibia. I'm restricted to walking with a cane for the next 2 months or so :(

    No baffles in my valve covers, I use a 16AN fitting on each cover to an independant catch can and typically don't empty much more than condensation from them unless we are whaling on the car. Even after blasting down the track there isn't much more than a few teaspoons of oil/water in them...

    Still alive and well, working 60+hours a week and dealing with a fractured leg has tied me up recently. There has been some progress on the 2015, it should be done in the next 2 weeks! Also, the 84' will be attending the American Muscle show next weekend and will be at the Vortech booth

    Racing Fuel

    Unless the car is more than 13:1 compression or seeing 20+ lbs of boost 114 octane fuel is way off base. Without knowing the specifics and I mean all of them about the combination of parts I wouldn't recommend anything... FWIW @madmike1157 C16 is $14.50 a gallon now :cool:
