    If you really want to do a cam the Comp XE264-HR14 would do what you are asking. I can cruise at 1200 RPMs all day with no bucking. Just make sure your springs can handle the .512” of lift. Like other have said you really need to change the gears to at least 3.27 and 3.55s would be better.

    If it’s a ‘89 it needs the MAF sensor regardless of the intake. Only exception would be an aftermarket computer like a Terminator X. So I would start with getting the MAF situation figured out.

    I would recommend you get a 192* for the thermostat. The computer expects the engine to run at that temp. My guess would be that the chip is compensating for a different injector/MAF combo and that’s why it doesn’t want to run without it.

    Yes I'm sure they can. Until you know what the idle is set at in the tune it's going to be hard to fix the issue. In the mean time I would do the base idle reset and try to get it to idle around 650 RPMs with the IAC and SPOUT disconnected.

    Could be a vacuum leak, but what you are seeing is somewhat common for modded foxes. When your car is still cold it's in open loop and not using the O2 sensors to correct fueling for your mods so you can end up with a lean or rich condition. Before I had mine tuned it would do that same thing...

    Have you tried to clean and tighten up the connections in your salt and pepper shakers? Have you checked the output voltage of the alternator where it connect to the starter solenoid when this is going on?

    I’m sure that will fix your issue. When I had my subframe connectors welded on they burned a tiny pin hole in the plastic line going to the charcoal canister and it was amazing how much gas smell came from that tiny hole.

    You shouldn’t need the 180 thermostat the stock one is fine. The radiator should help. Also make sure the fins on your AC condenser are not all bent up restricting air to the radiator (very common). Another thing to look for is that all the air damns are in place. LMR sales replacements for them.

    Best Intake for my Combo?

    Did you mean 265 CFM? According to AFR they flow 260CFM at .600" and 251cfm at .500". I think tmoss mentioned something about getting ~250cfm out of a ported Cobra intake so it should be a great fit.
