It was very uneven and the unfinished edges were way too visible. I tried using rubber windows screen spline to fill the gap and it actually looked pretty good...

    I just used the carpet as a pattern to cut the fabric and then glued it on with 3M spray adhesive. But it didn't look very good, there needs to be some sort of backing between the material and the uneven surface of the door. Plus the gap around the fabric is way too large and needs to be filled...

    Are you are a super tight budget or something, 'cause I get that. But for the amount of work it takes to troubleshoot and repair a 15yo Mach 460 system (which wasn't all that great to begin with) it makes a lot more sense to just replace the stuff with more modern components...

    maybe the 'verts are different, but my 2000GT with a Mach 460 definitely has 2 big amps behind the back seat under the well liner, one on either side of the top pump. <shrug> I re-used the amp(s) with both the aftermarket head units I've had in the car too.

I'm guessing that maybe you have 2005+ wheels, and while they will bolt up to a 94-04 Mustang, the offset it way wrong and you need at least a 1", maybe a 1 1/4" spacer to make them work (and look) almost right.     I cut up a bezel to fit the rectangular boot. The problem is the pivot point for the shifter is so much lower than the base of the boot there isn't enough movement/flex in the boot to work well in this application. In the picture you can see the boot is almost completely compressed at the rear...
