    I vote for the IAC too... It could conceivibly be a battery going bad, that can cause all sorts of weird idling and running issues...but I'd definitely start with the leak in the intake (a pic would help ID that possible issue) and the IAC.

    It has been a few years, and I don't remember any unusual issues. I just used an O2 sensor wrench, a regular wrench or socket won't work.

    I use Royal Purple Syncromesh, and my trans has almost 250,000 miles on it now...but I don't think that fluid is the problem either.     I really doubt the problem is the clutch...you should be able to easily shift out of gear with the clutch fully engaged by just letting off the throttle...if you can't get it out of gear then something internal is not right.
