    Lengthening axle housing tubes? Is it possible?

    I have a line on a local 9" housing out of a Bronco for really cheap, but from what I understand they have a 58" length and my 68 Mustang has a 59.25" length. Is it possible to lengthen the axle tubes, or would I have do something else to solve this dilemma. Your input please.

    From what I hear, the power/airflow difference between 1.90 and 2.02 valves is not much at all.

    Didn't all the Chevy Astro/GMC Safari Vans come with these composite mono leafs? If so, they must be pretty safe for street driving.

    I dunno about that, there is no replacement for displacement. If there was, Top Fuel cars would be running small blocks.

    I highly reccommend ARP valve cover studs instead of the regular bolts. It's one of those things that makes lining up the gasket SO much easier that you wonder why you hadn't used them before.

    I have Reproduction Tri-Y's for headers. I wouldn't mind a compression ratio of 9.5-10:1 As long as I can run on pump gas (94 octane is premium up here).
