Say it isn't so... please read

Well they have to drop the H-Pipe & Transmission to get to it, rear main is very common to leak in the 5.0's, only costs $5 & only takes 5 minutes to change, I did mine a few months ago aswell & it took about 3 or 4 hours to do so if a shop charges $65 an hour you should be looking @ around...

    recommending some blowers... (opinions)

Kenne Bell & the 1.5l is fine, I made over 350hp & 450 ft/lbs of torque on just about a stock motor.

You sure the stock valve springs can handle that ?

    break in new motor

Shouldn't matter as long as it's not real slow & you run it for atleast a few minutes & verify it's pumping & has lubricated all the internals.

    break in new motor

First off #1 cylinder needs to be @ top dead center, then you need to prime the oil pump with a drill then you drop in the dizzy.

    cam timing

Just about any cam you buy already comes with a few degrees of advance already ground into them & do not need to be degreed, so yes straight up should be fine though I'm not positive about that cam but if you have a degree kit I would check it, if not you should be fine straight up..

Actually it's 18-20 "not 24" tightening to 24 is not only too tight but it could cause to much preload.

The stock mustang cam specs are close but one I do know for sure is the 90-93 lca "lobe seperation" is definately wrong.
