    was it really bone stock... like even the stock rubber? A nice set of drag radials will help get the time into the mid-low 13's and the car could still be called "bone-stock"... or could it? Also, depends on track and weather conditions... my local track is LACR and it's at 3000' above sea...

    brake fluid ate the paint off!!!!

    I've got the same problem... the paint under my master cylinder is completely gone. I'm going in soon for my 30K service, so I plan on addressing the issue with them at that point.

    just bite the bullet and drill the holes. I did and I couldn't be happier, but I don't have any future plans on removing it... One of the reasons I like this kit vs the others, is that it DOES bolt on. Maybe I'm just getting old, but I don't like the idea of taping things to my car.

    So from what I gather, the 1/4 mile time for the GT500 is 12.7 @ 116... Seems to me that 500 hp should get you closer (or into the 11's). Is it because of traction problems? Or are the numbers underestimated on purpose? I'm only curious because my last car was a 65 Nova with approx 450 hp...

    Anyone have the Shaker 1000 in their GT??

    I'm on my 3rd B version and it started to jam up last week. Version A was bad, and version B is not as bad (but not good). Seems to be hit or miss.
