    thanks guys! Mark, the weather was great yesterday. definitely negative da. too bad hrp doesn't run the lanes any better than they did last night...there were alot of oil downs, but somehow the bikes and sub 10.50 cars got 3 runs before i got one :nonono:

    both my vettes were 2v motors and pushrods - lol seriously, the ls7 car was amazing. that car revving to 7100 was insane. and it revved very fast. physically the motors were very small looking under the hood in comparison to the this dohc 4.6.....the ls7 weighed like 450lbs. :flag:

    my '01 bullitt showroom stock besides 275/40 nittos ran 13.33 at 102.2 on a 1.86 60ft. 13.58 at 101.8 on the stock tire, 1.98 60ft. the car dynoed 239-240rwhp SAE on about 3 different 248c dynojets in houston. that car would have never trapped 107 - lol

    Hi Mark. It was not too crowded before 7:30 when I made the first run. After that, it was very crowded. There were a ton of street pickups, and I don't think that helped the track since most of those idiots were driving right through the water with all 4s. I should have got there earlier...

    a very interesting question - and difficult to answer for a couple of reasons. Number one, this 04 is a vert and an iron block/eaton blown front end heavy car. I'd guess this 04 car is probably 250-300lbs heavier than the 98 coupe. So, advantge 98 from a weight standpoint (and also gearing...

    there's no way I'd get rid of the SOS dual pod. Those are so much better looking than those older styles like the triples you see. You can get a single guage mount for around the steering column. Leave your dual on the pod. Or there's even dual guage mounts than integrate with the dash...

    I'm doing fine. I hardly ever make it out to hrp, I haven't been in probably 18 months. But I do plan on taking this car out there this spring, most likely in feb. after a big front.
