    I think most NA cobras are going to slow down at the drag strip with a T56, especially if you choose a T56 with the 2.66 1st gear (like found in the 03 Cobra and F-Bod). I'm not sure what the first gear is in a viper spec T56, but I can't imagine it's any shallower than 2.66. My '98 Cobra...

    ford had no choice but to try and squeeze out as much mpg as possible from the modular motors. The fuel economy is pathetic (my '03 5.4 expedition and the rising fuel costs are eating a nice chunk out of my wallet.... :mad: ) :D

    When it came time to replace the stock supercar F1s on my vette, I went with..... an identical set of F1 supercar tires :D They're awesome. Dry traction is extremely good.

    I had a silver evo match speeds (about 65) with me on the freeway. Car had boost pillar guages and a nerdy little farg driving it. He kept nosing it with the gas and I obliged him. Pulled easily 10 car lengths from a 65 to 115 run. I then proceeded to bust the hazards on him. :lol:

    Best Gear Ratio- '03 Cobra??

    stockish power level, I'd say 4.10's. The first gear in the tranny is poor at 2.66, and the car needs help off the line, especially with the girth. For comparison, an 01 Cobra would have a much more favorable overall ratio than an 03 Cobra: 01: 3.37 (1st tranny ratio) X 3.27 rear = 11.02...
