Want to start your car without depressing the clutch?

Clip them and I can see you being liable for any injuries that can come about a car started in gear. If you have the money to cover your rear, then go for it. Otherwise I say don't mess with it. If you want to bypass the clutch safety switch, you are lazy and might as well buy an automatic.

Headlight not working but highbeams do, why?

How about the parking lights? If not, check the switch.

    TR3650 transmission gear ratios

Take a look at Tremec's website. I know in my 2000 GT my engine was turning over 2000rpm at 70mph and now in my 2002 GT I'm doing 75 at 2000rpms. I noticed it right away when I shifted into 5th for the first time that the engine seemed to be turning less.

    2001 s281sc saleen crash

First off, he was a little stupid to street race at those speeds. Good thing he's not dead but should have a huge fine put on him. That's my opinion. Secondly, air bags will deploy when there is a frontal impact. You didn't mention what part of the car hit the pole.

    Splitfire v spark plug

Don't buy them. I made the mistake in buying them a long time ago and they didn't last nearly as long as Autolite or NGK's.

Anytime they have swept for me is after the battery has been disconnected.

    damn ABS light on/off

Is it the ABS light or the brake light? Those are two different things. If it's the brake, then add fluid. If the ABS make sure the sensors at all four wheels are clean.

    Coolant in spark plug holes

I would have to say that it may be a cracked head. I cannot see how a cracked head gasket would let coolant into the spark plug wells. Since the coolant filled the wells, they are causing the plugs to misfire and throw a code. Don't drive like that unless you'd like to put in a new, more...

Weird looking oil in oil cap

I have seen it on all my cars because of the winter conditions here in MN. No worry. It seems to go away when it gets drier out.

    I hate Illinois weather

Woosies. My Mustang is the DD and I had no issues with the new snow that fell here.

    FRPP C Springs

I put them on with no issues. There is the occassional squeek from the back because of the isolators, but no other issues. I've had then on for about 2 years now. Ride is much better, I like the stance and for the money they are a great pick, IMO. I don't like throwing my money around and...

    03 Cobra Eaton on a 2V

Will it bolt on? Yes but only after a lot of $$ is spent and a lot of work is done through fabrication of this and that, etc. Is it worth the cost and effort? No. Listen to the others. Put your money elsewhere.

    Coil on Plug Wires

It may say 15 horsepower but what mods are needed before you see that? On a stock car I don't think it would pick up that much. Not worth it.

Issue starting the car when Warm

All I do is turn the key to ON, put my seat belt on and then start the car. By that time the fuel lines should be primed and it goes. Waiting a few seconds and then starts works for me.

Anyone know what might be the best Jet-ski forum?

Yeah, Yamaha has Waverunner and I believe Kawasaki coined Jet-Ski. The generic name is personal watercraft (PWC). As for forums, I don't know. I do like my '01 Polaris SLX though!

    New Shifter Question

The notchiness you feel is in the tranny and really has nothing to do with the shifter itself other that it being a shorter throw and you feel it more than the stock one. Keep the "cup" on there because without it you will not be able to shift.

Hit and Run, what should I do?

You can take the collision off if you want to in order to save money. However, if another car hits yours and takes off while it's parked and does $2000.00 in damage, you have to pay out of pocket. Sure taking it off will save you money and it is your choice to decide that or not. As for...
