    Heater Core Question (I think?)

if you have oily residue on your windshield then yes your heater core is leaking. also you can check your carpet under the airbox for moisture. id recommend replacing it asap since a nasty spill in the cab of the car could be disasterous. hot water will always circulate thru it from the...

What would be the signs of a loose clutch/flywheel.

id think you'd have some clunking coming from the bellhousing just by putting your foot on and off the clutch pedal. either way its an extreeeeemly dangerous situation and I'd definetly look into fixing it or even making sure that its tight just for good sake. if the bolts backed out and the...

Radiator flush products, yay or nay?

ive used the super flush... but when i did it i took the thermostat out so it was constantly cycling through... then i unhooked the lower hose and let it drain and hooked up the hose to the normal tap water and made sure that I flushed all of the "flush" chemicals out before adding DILSTILLED...

Got Ripped Off On Ebay 1993 Mustang

yup a 4cyl tranny bolts right up. and no that wouldnt cause the speedo to be off. the speedo gear runs off of the tailshaft and it doesnt matter if it was a cobra 6 speed transmission, it still turns at the same speed out the back. the only factor would be different gears in the rear end. so...

    Installing strut bushings... how the...???

impact gun. dont even try to go at it with a normal wrench. you wont do anything but turn the strut rod. if you're replacing the bushings in the CC plate theres a bushing on each side. you'll need to remove the strut... you dont necessarily need to remove the spring to do it.

well my gf has a 1996 v6 mustang with a 1999 3.8 motor... the smog inspector orignally gave us crap about the headers... which were stock 96 headers rather than the 99 manifolds... then peeked under the car and said that the catted X pipe isnt smog legal.. according to the shop she took it to...

    gt trunk lid swap???

aftermarket hatch'es are fiberglass and while they are much lighter, they also leak, and fiberglass is prone to cracking. Also they do not have glass windows, but rather lexan which turns yellow in the sunlight over time. Theres MANY other ways to drop weight in a stang than sacraficing on the...

    Positive Traction

only thing you can use is the axles... those are interchangable... thats pretty much it. if you're gonna go thru the hassle of doing a complete rear end swap... you might as well slap some disc brakes on the rear end as well... :D
