    no it is NOT possible..... if the cam gear dot is straight down and the crank gear dot is straight up and they both line up with each other then the cam is dead on, and installed 'straight up'. yeh it would be nice to degree a cam, but its not needed, cam manufacturers these days are dead...

    yes it is an emmissions part and aids the pcv system in keeping the crank case ventilated. You could remove it and cap the two holes but if you do you should get a breather cap for the valve cover.

    Rear Main Seal Tool

    you dont need no tool for the rear main seal. pull the old one out carefully with a screw driver, clean the surface up, then tap the new one on with a small hammer.
