Dreaded Oil Pan gasket replacement... Any Tips???

Loosen your motor mounts and raise the motor when you get it on the lift, you can use a tall "stiff leg" on the transmission to do so. Lift it enough to get the pan out. Shouldn't be too difficult and straightforward. Good luck. --Chuck

    nitrous help

Yikes um, so far as the regulator? Im not sure id go that route but you could probably find one. You could buy a drop in pump that would run around there you could regulate safer. So far as getting the fuel to the nitrous system, you could run a T in your line to branch off. Zex recommends...

I was hoping some of the other fellahs might come out and play with this one.. no luck though it seems. I would like to see a few different angles tackled at this one. Seems almost like its got a problem going into 'warm cruise' mode, or is malfunctioning around there, why only that point in...

That sounds like a bad connection in the door that may or might not shake loose, either that, or you have some sort of short/cross that when you open the door and the button is unpressed it allowed voltage to pass. you should take the panel off and do a voltage and voltage drop test (door...

    90 vs. 91 Computer

For some reason I couldn't get our 6000 dollar Snap-On scanner to pull the codes on my car, but I can manually pull them with the LED technique. See if you can pull your own codes. But to answer your question you shouldn't have a problem swapping the ecu. --Chuck

Id pull some codes to start with, check your fuel pressure, man this is a bitch of a problem. id say pull codes cold and hot, and check your plugs/wires/dizzy as well. I know sometimes caps can be cracked and when they warm up, and/or are cold can buck and be running good cold and bad hot or...

1988 LX 302 with high speed vibration

Road force can do all sorts of ****, I just like to start with the easy **** first, such as tires, then work your way to the driveshaft, then possible pinion bearing free play. Most shops will do a "balance/road force" check for little to nothing if you are having vibration problems. Also tire...

Still cant get the car to run at part throttle

A Vacuum leak wont show up at WOT for the most part. There should be little to no vacuum at WOT if your components are matched up. At least rule this one out, then we can venture deeper. You can check via vacuum gauge as listed earlier or my favorite the intake smoker. Start with the basics...
