    Need help - engine destroyed

If you have a Whipple HO kit with the standard pulley and run the piss out of the car with the supplied tune it will more than likely pop the block way before it would have popped with a pro dyno tune. I'm speaking about the 3-valve engines.

Anyone ever upgrade from a stock cluster to a GT cluster?

Like I said, take a small flat blade screwdriver (not something that will break) and come in from the side and pop it out. Try a little elbow grease.

It has everything to do with it. You just don't supercharge a 3-valve without a real competent professional tuning it and then go out and run the piss out of it. Seeing that he's from Italy I'd say it was not tuned properly and was probably an email tune.

Anyone ever upgrade from a stock cluster to a GT cluster?

Carefully come in from the side with a very small flat blade screwdriver and pop it out.

Anyone ever upgrade from a stock cluster to a GT cluster?

I upgraded mine a few years ago. First, you need to pop out the blank where the 3 switches would go. If you have a wiring harness plug stuffed into the back of the blank then you're good. If not, forget it. You go to the dealer and order the cluster. They need your current miles. The cluster...

    Tranny upgrade

Maybe look into a TR6060 (GT500 6 speed) swap for double overdrive. It can handle the power and D&D sells a complete kit.

    Body Damage Need Advice

The new stangs are very easy to repair the kind of damage you have. The body, pans, etc.. are easy to cut out and weld in replacements. Don't even worry about the bent trunk pan.

    Tranny upgrade

You can pretty much just swap out the input shaft to fine spline and any reputable manual transmission shop can handle that. Get a hold of Walt at ProMotion and he can get the parts to you. 888.380.3670 They say he usually doesn't like to sell this stuff, but he will. He will try to talk...

    My car smells inside

I would put a dehumidifier in the car and plug it in. Let it run for a couple of days.

    Need help FAST!!

Clean the MAF with spray contact cleaner or MAF cleaner. You want to shoot it up inside the small holes and make sure to try and get the inside clean. It's a good idea to clean them every 25k miles or so. Just handle it carefully. You probably have a bad tune though.

    Need help FAST!!

Sounds like you need another tune. Try cleaning the MAF too.

    Tighten factory hood.

If you can adjust that latch, this is a great idea.

    Tighten factory hood.

Out front along the radiator cover are the rubber stops. You can grab and rotate them upward (they are threaded). Only go far enough to not cause the hood to sit too high when closed and also so that you don't have to slam it to get it closed. That helps with the hood shimmy at high speeds.

05-09 gt oem springs vs 10 gt oem springs

They all sit up like SUV's, why not just drop the rear 1'' and be done it? I have a Whipple up front and just the rear dropped. Rides great and looks just fine.

    Cam Swap question?

Cams alone will take about 3-4 hours at least. If doing springs for the first time I say at least 12 hours just to do the springs, then the cams will take another hour or 2.

Is there a cam for a SC car?

Comp and JPC Racing have blower grinds available. BBR does not, but their stage 2 cams work pretty decent with blowers while still having old school idle. Blower cams will have less old school sound because of less valve overlap. If you want just max power out of a blower cam then get blower...
