Has anyone checked out AJE's new front end?

$2250-800 = $1450 left to improve your front end. $1450 > $800 (CPP extreme kit) = $650 savings. The RM and CPA kits aren't complete packages on their own, but allow you to add the benefits of a coil over shock to a setup which would otherwise be using stock style springs.

which front suspension for my 66 fastback?

a 351 Windsor or Cleveland can fit without removing the towers. the Cleveland is a much tighter squeeze from what i hear, but you don't need to remove the towers for a Windsor. the 4.6 would require removing the shock towers or at least making some severe modifications as it is in fact wider...

Has anyone checked out AJE's new front end?

it should bolt right up, it replaces the spring perches and comes with a new upper mount which will bolt to the top of your shock tower.

which front suspension for my 66 fastback?

what exactly are you trying to do with your suspension? if you're not hellbent on getting rid of your shock towers, then you might look into the opentracker racing products stuff, which is similar to stock, only greatly improved upon. there's also TCP, Global west, and a plethora of other...

your thoughts on my front suspension idea...

It's kind of hard for me to tell from the pictures, but couldn't you just modify the pan to make room for the steering? also, i think most rack and pinion kits mount where the bolted on cross member goes, if that would give you any extra clearance.

Has anyone checked out AJE's new front end?

i just noticed today while flipping through the M&F magazine.. apparently Ron Morris has a coil over kit that can be used with the stock style arms. Might compliment that CPP front end nicely... or open tracker's stuf. i think it comes with the two coil overs and it replaces the spring perch...

    Courtesy lights stay on

was it working fine before and then just started doing this? or was it after you wired some stuff? if it's the first case then mis matched wires can be eliminated as the problem, and then maybe you should look at your headlight switch to see if it needs to be replaced (although i've never...

A Classic Mustang, is a Classic forever even with EFI

actually, they had an expert on the show who said that they can see two basic colors. where we can see 3. or something like that

    Mustang Drop Spindles

I find that to be impossible as there is no chassis, it's a unibody structure. not only that, but every mustang is different as the factory tolerances weren't exactly strict. Don't make the same mistake TCP did on the corner carvers forum by claiming there stuff was the greatest without any...

    TKO fitment

I'm starting to lean towards the gforce T5. not that i don't want to cut and weld, but because i think i can get it done cheaper. does anyone know where i could order a set of gforce gears? or would i have to order them directly?

    TKO fitment

i should mention that it was an automatic car before i sold the c4. i was basing the price off of the complete kits i've been looking at. like the one JMC sells which includes. tko 600 bell housing engine block plate clutch fly wheel clutch fork hydraulic clutch kit cross member...

    TKO fitment

do you guys think a WC T5 (300 ft lbs) would live behind a 360 ft lb 302 for a little while? I'm thinking i can source a used WC t5 with bellhousing block plate and clutch for a few hundred dollars, then upgrade to the gforce gearset later on. (and obviously upgrade the clutch). The engine...

    TKO fitment

well, i've got myself into a situation. I don't want to move my car into paint until i have everything the way it needs to be to fit a tko. my problem is that i don't have an engine or transmission at the moment, and I can't really swing the $4000 for a TKO swap kit right now. For those of...
