    i don't have any experience with 'ram air', but it would seem that setup might produce more hp than a basic cai system.. i don't really think most cai setups net any 'real' measurable gains..'ram air' is an entirely different sort of setup..i could be wrong..

    I agree with everyone.. I switched to Magnaflows from Flowmasters... the install was a breeze, although I did have to use loc-tite to keep the damned bolts from falling out, but no problems since.... love the sound.. -grinning all the way to 140mph

    it still won't be a 'grinding'.. most likely clicking or clacking as the fan blades make contact with whatever is hindering it....depending on how you want to describe it..in my opinion...

    not necessarily..sometimes the fan will continue run after you've shut the motor down..but, fan 'noise' or 'whirl' is not grinding...something is definitely going on..
