Delima: How to spend my $

My vote would be to restore the 84. I love these new stangs, but they still haven't found a place in my heart like the foxes. Time may help that, but I find myself missing my 1990 5.0 a lot. Hey, did you also go by the same name (LizardKing) years ago on either Mustangworks or Rice Haters...

Couple things I don't like about my Mustang

Sweet! I'm ordering them. My girlfriend will love me forever as the seat belt really bugs her.

Couple things I don't like about my Mustang

I get about 20 mpg with a combo of in town and hi-way driving. Things I dislike: -The incredibly loud A/C clutch -The interior finishes on the plastic does scratch easily. -The low passenger seat....it also causes the seat belt to be uncomfortabel for my girlfiend. -The fact that the seats...

    TSB for 06 GT

All these TSB's make me nervous. I haven't noticed the noisy axle in my ride, but the fact that a TSB was issued almost makes me want to get the service regardless. If it is related to a problem with Dana, wouldn't Ford know which vehicles would be affected? Even though I don't have many...

    My A/C is popping?

Thanks bigcat. It had me wondering.

    My A/C is popping?

Oh, I forgot to mention that I noticed my clutch cycles and makes the same annoying noise with the defrost on, even if I have the A/C turned off. Why is this?? If the compressor isn't being called for, why would my clutch engange and dis-engage?

    My A/C is popping?

My A/C is decent, but I get hot easily and really don't think car manufacturers do a great job designing for "worst case" scenarios. Luckily, I can get some air moving where I live, but what if you live in Atlanta or Houston and have to sit in traffic in 110 degree heat all summer long? The...

Has anyone ever tried plumbing their AC into their intake?

I'm surprised more has't been said about the set up used on the lightning. I don't know much about it or why it never made it to production, but if I recall, it was said to give you a 30 hp boost when used.

    My A/C is popping?

Maybe the new Fords do, but my 98 contour and my girlfriends 2002 Escape don't do it. My A/C could be colder......it really struggles to keep up on hot summer days, especially with my black interior.

    My A/C is popping?

That same issues bugs the hell out of me. It's extremely loud, IMO.

    Oil and filter recommendations?

I used the K&N filter on my 06, but before I always used Fram filters on my F-150 and 1990 Mustang, never with a problem. I know they have a bad reputation with many people, but with the Fram filters and Mobil 1 oil, my old Stang engine still looked brand new after 55K miles when I pulled the...

    Install Front Plate

Nice, both those ideas look like winners after throwing a little padding in there. Forget I said anything about the two screws in the glovebox :)

    Install Front Plate

There were two screws left in my glovebox for doing this, and you can see the slight identations in the front where they go. Missouri says I should do this too, although I haven't yet. I just don't want the holes up there. The first ticket will probably change my mind though.

    Computer info center question

Mine sits right on 31 mph. I would think it would change a mph or two after some long highway cruising, especially with only 4,000 miles on my Stang (I have never reset the average mph since I bought mine). I guess if I'm not interested in what my average mph is from the day I got the car, I...

    Computer info center question

Funny...now that you mention it, I think mine always reads 34 mph too. I'll have to doubel check today. FYI - I also noticed that my mpg is usually 1 lower on the computer than what I'm actually getting.

    Crappy Stock Paint! Help?

My black paint has two pretty noticeable swirl marks. I haven't had time to try and polish them out yet, but I hate reading about how thin the clear is Ford uses.

Where can I view complete text for TSB's?

I just saw a listing on another website that showed all TSB's for the 06, so if you can't find some I listed, maybe that posting was in error. Oh, and I'll PM my email. Thanks man!
