Frankly, it looks home made. I've never seen one like it.

The most common suspect is the fuel filler neck grommet.

    Fox Good Dumped Exhaust?

The best days of my LX life were putting cats back on the car, and putting tailpipes back on it. Dumps really suck to drive.

    Fox Dynomax Catback.

Of the three, the Super Turbos sound the best IMO. I didn't like Ultra Flows much when I had them, and I've never heard an SLP system that sounded good to me.

    Camber Plates For Coilovers

I would go with steel if using coilovers.

    Fox 500rwhp T5...grinding Sound When Hitting 2nd...

If it's started happening suddenly, maybe the he cable sheath is collapsing, causing the cable not to fully pull the fork and fully release the clutch. Have a look where the cable meets the trans and see if the sheath is bulging.

    Car Shudders When Turning Wheel

The steering system probably still has air in it and needs bleeding. Try getting the front wheels in the air, then turn the ignition on (don't start it yet), floor and hold the gas. This invokes "clear flood" mode and shuts off the injectors. Now, still holding the gas to the floor, crank the...

Differance Between The Gt And Lx

Just to be clear, there are no mechanical differences between a GT and an LX 5.0. Lots of suspension and brake differences between the V8's and the 4-cyl's, and to this day, if you want the correct brake/suspension parts for your LX 5.0, you have to say it's a GT, or the parts system is likely...

    M/m Coil Over Kit

There are two main strut housing diameters used by commonly available strut manufacturers. The cheap coilover sellers provide a one-size-fits-all sleeve that fits over both sizes of strut, and not very well, whereas MM sells two different sizes for a snug fit no matter what. The difference is...

    Engine Stuck Throttle Body Studs

You can replace the studs with bolts of the correct length, or just buy some all-thread and cut to length.

    Anti Moan Brackets Too Long

That's because your rotors are 10 inches in diameter, and the anti-moan brackets are for later model cars with 10.5-inch rotors, and the calipers positioned accordingly...1/4 inch further out than yours.

I'm curious what volume fuel pump you're running.

Changing Gear Ratio On A T5

Upgrading the standard 3.35 1st gear to the higher strength 2.95 1st gear requires a change of at least the 1st gear AND the cluster gear. I can't recall 100% correctly but I'm pretty sure other parts of the gearset require changing with the cluster even if their ratios are the same. It's not a...

    Rare Svo Craigslist Find

Seems like an obvious repaint of a formerly black car. The engine bay would normally be body colored unless somebody painted it differently, but the giveaway is the tops of the door sills are black.

Brakes A Case Of The Clunks: Brakes/suspension Noise

The brake pads are specific to the side of the car. If you put them on the wrong side, they'll install just fine, but now the oval holes are oriented wrong, and they allow the caliper assembly to rattle up and down against the pins. Installed properly, the flats on the ovals prevent this. The...

How Big Of A Pain Is It To Replace At Starter, Really?

Two bolts on a foxbody. And they like to seize, since it's an iron bolt in an aluminum housing. Try to get some penetrating oil in the holes in the housing and let it soak overnight. And use a 6-point socket. Also, disconnect the battery first.

    Overheating Issues - Water Pump?

I'm starting to think cracked head or head gasket. Run a compression test on every cylinder.
