    I would recommend a tuner also. I have a Diablosport predator for my '99. These cars have a LOT of potential and a tuner will help you maximise your stock or modified Cobra.

    idle situation

    I have an E-303 cam in my '93 and I set my base idle at 1K, plugged th spout and IAC back in and she wanted to idle at around 14K, I then backed my idle set screw out until the car idled around 950 (without resetting base) It has been rinning beautifully for the last few days!

    Can you post pics of the plug arrangements of both sterio's and the wiring plugs your vehicle has? If your car dosn't have an amp and you need one, I have a ford factory amp that should work. (Need to verify plug configuration there as well...) And I can do ya' better on the price.

    Are those plugs directional? Could it be in backwards? Inspect the pins in the connectors as well, make sure there clean and protrude as they should... Next stop, check the fan relay...
