    I usually get like 18MPG per tank. That is mixed driving with rape mode set to on. I can knock down 24MPG on long interstate jaunts.

    Given the fact that you don't understand that a 306 is just a .040 over engine and not a stroker... I would slap a Vortech on it and be done.

    Tough call. T-top's are pretty awesome but you should probably keep your car and add a t-top car down the road if you really want one.

    Hatch Won't Stay Shut

    Bumping this thread up. Just realized my hatch issues were due to having no striker bushing at all. Gonna try and use a parts store bushing. The LRS parts are overpriced. 40 dollars for a striker lol... they need to get more reasonable with some of their resto stuff.

    If I ever do it again I'm trying spare cluster first. Those cables and gears are kind of a bitch. Ended up replacing mine for nothing.

    I had this issue, did the new cable and tranny gear thing. No help what so ever. Turned out the cluster was bad. New cluster and the speedo works great now. Tach on the new cluster is a bit bouncy though. Got one for 50 bucks of CL with 99K miles on it.

    I've been wondering this as well. The problem I have with the 5 lug swap is alot of the wheels I like are 17x9 in 5 lug variety. I really like my 17x8 4 lug black SSC wheels I have right now.
