    Flowmaster Super 40 interior noise...

    well my freeway driving is almost non-existant so that isn't a huge factor (though a factor none the less.) How much quieter are the 40 series Delta Flows? As long as the DFs are significantly louder/deeper than the stock mufflers I would be quite happy.

    Does anyone have the Super 40s that could give me an idea of how loud the interior noise is, especially around the infamous 2K rpm mark... I have been thinking about getting a set to add a little more rumble to the rear end and saw PartsShopper was having a special on them. :nice:

    I'm thinking of jacking the car up, and filling one of those fertilizer things you connect to garden hoses with vinigar and spraying the undercarrage down thoroughly, and then wash it with a powerwasher. Possibly take a sponge to it if I can reach...

    I live in michigan and my insurance is through All-State and the price isn't bad at all, though that could just be because we also have home insurance through them.

    I'll probably get some '03 replicas if I go with 17s. What is the widest tires you can go with on the rears w/o rubbing on 17s? I was looking at the 315/35/17 550Rs. ATM the car has the Eibach Pro-Kit, which I know will make it easier to rub. :( If I go with 18s I am looking at 285/35/18...

    tires.com has them in those two sizes, actually. For some reason when you search by brand and select "Nitto," the 555R DR comes up twice, the second one shows the 285/35 and 305/35

    Nitto's website shows a 285/35/18 and a 305/35/18, so I would assume someone must have them in those sizes for sale. If you find them somewhere let me know, because those are right around the size I am looking for. From what I have heard, 295/45/18 will definately rub...

    yeah i had the rims on my '04 GT. That isn't as bad as having the hood on the V6s tho. Guess it makes the '01 Cobras more sleeper-ish. =P

    I know this is a longshot, but I really would like to keep the outside as stock looking as possible. I was wondering if anyone knows of a company that makes a replica of the 99-01 Cobra rims in a 9-10.5 in. width. If not I will probably get some '03 replicas.

    largest tire width that can fit on stock '01 Rims?

    I will probably go with 275s to be safe. Has anyone gotten the new G-Force KDWs? I am deciding between those and the Nitto DRs. And how do the DRs work in the rain (I'm sure they aren't too good, but how much worse than stock?)
