    From Steeda's website "These upper mounts eliminate the "popping" sound that is common on lowered cars when the factory upper mount fails". Sounds like you might need to upgrade the upper strut mounts. LB

    I finally finished my Paxton 1200 install and all I can say is holy $h!t this thing flies. Best money I ever spent!! I'll see if I can get some pics/videos of it. LB

    2006 GT questions

    The only thing you need to look out for is the empty hole in your pocket because the upgrades are becoing endless to make it "yours". I'll bet that I've dropped around 6-7K extra into mine and it has been worth every penny!! LOL Enjoy and have fun! BTW, I bought my '06 for my wife too :)

    thats just crazy... I never realized there was any issue and I had previously pulled 2 plugs before ever reading this. I will take it easy on the rest when I change them. Thanks for the info!! LB

    Personally, I haven't seen anything real positive on here when people go to the steeper gears. For the cost and wear and tear, its gained them what, maybe 2 tenths? Have any of you been to the track before and after with this change only? I didn't think it was worth it after I looked into it...

    Thats ok, thanks anyway. This has been ongoing for probably at least a year if not longer. Its not a big deal, just saw this thread and thought i'd put my .02 into it because it is an issue that is not resolved. I have posted new posts and replied to other tech posts and it never goes up.....

    Burning oil at startup

    I looked but did not really see anything...is anyone have issues with oil burning on startup? The steed just popped 20K miles and I noticed that now if it sits for a couple days, it burns some oil on startup. Tells me I've got a top end issue, like valve seals or guides. Anyone else having this...

    opinions on mixing body kits

    I agree, make it yours. The only thing I am against is if you mix kits that have the company name stamped in them (i.e. roush rear bumper). I put a shelby bumper and spoiler on my GT but I run SHR louvers and am saving for a cervinis front end. Its all about the look you want. LB

    That's why I bought the 06 "for her". The girls are inside and she drives an explorer in the winter and one of the mustangs, usually the 06, during the summer. :D LB

    I will never drive any one of my mustangs in the winter ever again!! But I don't live in sunny Florida anymore either. My wife was driving during the first snow we got.. she ended up doing 360's done the middle of the road. So, I took over and I have got to say that thing drove like total crap...

    good question. I suggest sticking with your current car because you will lose more than 3K stepping up to a new one. I'm still tryin to find out where to get it done so I didn't even know the range until now. glassback.com is not working anymore so I can't find any local Denver area shops...
