Thats a busted link. Any ideas where to look elsewhere... guess I could ship it to CDC if they do it onsite. Can't wait to see the finished product. Should look sweet!! LB ---didn't realized this was an old post--

SHR Louvers, GT500 Spoiler -- Pics

Ok, I finally got my Silver Horse Racing Louvers and GT500 Spoiler installed. Took forever but finally. Anyway, I've included a couple shots of it here but the quality isn't the greatest. Didn't have my digital camera so I took some shots with my phone. I will post better ones soon. I love...

8.8 & Maximum Motorsport Torque Arm in 67

Use aftermarket 31 spline axles, new carrier and axle girdle cover and you'll be good to go. As far as engine, I'd go stroked 351. It takes up less room, weighs less, and still makes a ton of power. And if you are wanting to go EFI, I'm sure you can convert a 5.0 type setup for minimal cost...

8.8 & Maximum Motorsport Torque Arm in 67

I agree with the quadra bind, and this is basically what I was looking to do. I guess I need to start doing some measurements and see how I can get it all together. I know some have mentioned aftermarket kits designed for the car but they are way overpriced to me and some aren't an improvement...

8.8 & Maximum Motorsport Torque Arm in 67

I'm not a very big fan of the leaf spring rear's. As far as I'm concerned, they don't offer enough adjustability as compared to a fox body style setup. Problem with fox body sytle though is the angled uca's so I would go with some sort of torque arm/panhard bar setup. I will look into this...

8.8 & Maximum Motorsport Torque Arm in 67

didn't see where they had one available yet but how many thousands is it going to cost to get one of their setups? I wasn't really looking for a custom set up, but thanks for the input though

8.8 & Maximum Motorsport Torque Arm in 67

I was curious.... I see where a lot of people put 8.8's from fox body's in their classic stang and swap to the old style suspension. Has anyone attempted to put a fox 8.8 in a 67/68 stang and modify the suspension to accept the fox coil springs and lower control arms and add a maxiumum...

    Roush Louvers installed

Unless your goal is a Roush look-a-like, don't feel pressed to put all roush on the car. IMO, as long as you stay away from pieces that have the name badged like the roush rear bumper, shelby brand grill or lettering like shelby for the rear deck lid, then mix and match to get exactly what you...

Help, I'm out of parts to replace! -- Electrical

Since you figured your problem out, I'd like to hijack for a question. I'm having similar problems but I saw a different diagram floating around. When I hooked up according that diagram, I have Regulator Alternator A to Battery and...

Hard Starting: Looking for possile leads...

Let us know how it turns out. As far as the inside of the cap getting wet/condensation, yes, I've had it happen but more times than not, it causes the engine to miss because it is allowing the spark jump to different terminals. It would not hurt to go ahead and spray the inside of the cap...

Hard Starting: Looking for possile leads...

I think everyone agrees that points are old school and there are better options out there but in this case, he didn't have a problem until he rebuilt the carb. Yes the car would stall cold but anyone that doesn't have the choke set properly will either stall a car or it will run like crap until...

    Alternator Wiring How-To

Ok so I may have realized something here but I have no intentions of installing one but here goes the quote from another forum.... "After everything was in I started her up, and she wasn't charging! After re-checking wiring and testing wires for breaks, I eventually remembered someone on the...
