    Wheel Offset Question

You should be fine with the 9.5 with a 45mm offset... It will stick in like stated above about 1/4" in from the edge.. should be perfect fit... sorry about the confusion, mine was with 10's

It happened, got in an accident with the 'Stang.

Awesome... Glad to hear you got it back... Those small bumps in the paint you are talking about are runs. I would take it back and show it to them. They will wetsand and buff those areas. Should only take an hour or two to fix. If it doesn't come out or it breaks through, they'll need to...

Need info on GT security system please!

I would get the alarm to let you know if someone is breaking in. Also, get Lo-Jack if you want peace of mind in case your car is stolen. Most insurance companies give discounts for both additions. Also, like someone said earlier, the PASS system is only so effective. I know people who have...

    Automatics with 3:73's

so I'm curious, been looking at doing gears in my wife's auto. She wants some umph added to it without going overboard. I won't be changing the stock converter, so would you recommend 3.73 or 4.10? Has anyone seen how much 1/4 times improved with these changes? LB

    Roush Spoiler

webb06GT - It looks sweet like that jack1.1 - I really want the Roush spoiler, nothing looks quite like it. I'm ok with putting the spoiler on if I don't have to drill any holes in my qtr panels. I guess the biggest question then is how well are those 2 outside pieces going to stick? I...

    Wheel Offset Question

My 18x8.5 Foose are 34mm and they fit great. I had a set of 18x10's with 45mm offset that I test fitted and for me they were too close to the outside edge. So I think you'd be happy with the first set you mentioned.... LB

    F150 owner needs piston help

I would check with companies like Coast High Performance or DSS. They should be able to help you out and give you good input for your goals also.... LB

    Roush Spoiler

I like to mix and match different styles to get what I'm looking for. Right now I'm torn between a couple different ones, thats why I wanted to find out how the Roush attaches. I stay away from anything that has a name imprinted. thanks for the info anyway LB

    Roush Spoiler

Thats what I'm concerned about. I know double sided tape will stick good but for how long? If I have to drill holes, I'll never be able to remove the spoiler down the road.....not that I would, just if I ever wanted to go back stock, I'd have holes in the qtrs. Its a dilemma and I want to get...

    Roush Spoiler

Has anyone installed a Roush Spoiler on their ride? I am curious how the two outside pieces attach. How many bolt holes does it need and where are they placed? Just trying to figure out how well they are attached. I assume the middle piece is attached in the stock holes. thanks, LB

Proform HEI Distributor -- Need Advice

For those that are curious, I went with the Proform. It seems to work well although I haven't been able to really put it through its paces yet....still waiting on a tag. Otherwise, it is basically a GM HEI style distributor with a ford shaft on the end. It seems to work well and took me...

Matching fog lights to Saleen HID headlights

Any word on what it will cost? I'm looking at a set of Saleen HID's right now but wonder about the cost of the parts (lights, bulbs, ballasts, wiring, etc) of the 08's.. LB

Proform HEI Distributor -- Need Advice

I have a 351 that I need to replace the ignition system on, not using the stock EEC-IV anymore. Has anyone used or have any good information on the Proform HEI Distributor? It is very similar to GM models. Looks pretty neat for a DD..... Let me know what you think. LB

Wheels -- Best place to buy

I bought a set of wheels from www.cruisinchrome.com last month. I had ordered a set of Foose 18x8.5's and 18x10's. Turns out the offset isn't quite right for the 18x10's. They stuck out the side and were pretty much even with the fender. A good bump or lowering the car would definitely have...

It happened, got in an accident with the 'Stang.

Troy..I didn't see where anyone else asked, how'd you do that? I assume you rolled :jaw: Power4.. I feel your pain. You'll work through it though, my wife was rear ended sitting at a stop light. Lucky for me the Ford tech was willing to swap in Shelby bumper. I only paid the...

Swapping to Shelby GT 500 Brakes

If you are able, measure how much more the brackets/calipers stick out compared to the stock setup. I'm sure many of us would be interested to know the spacing difference. I know with my Nitrous wheels, I'm probably less than a 1/4 from the caliper. LB

Swapping to Shelby GT 500 Brakes

I agree but does anyone know where the difference is? I just bought a set of foose wheels and rather not spend that money again.

Swapping to Shelby GT 500 Brakes

Does the brake setup from the Shelby GT 500 fit the GT Model without any issues? I'm already running 18" wheels but I wasn't sure if they needed anything else. Curious if anyone has done this swap and what issues you ran into. LB
