    I spent $3k for my shortblock. This was from start to finish. I dropped it off and picked it up running. I later changed my cams to the VTs and was charged $150. My tune cost me around $400. Total, you should look to be $3500-$4k.

    Switch chip

    I have a 3 position Diablo chip. I was told it was best to shut the car off and then switch it but I've tested it several times and it works fine switching on the fly.

    when considering nitrous... consider what?

    No matter what, get a custome tune! On my stock block and stock fuel system I made 378/422 at the wheels on an Edelbrock dry system. Before the tune and long tubes I made around 300 :nonono: I thought the car ran great but found out it was way out of wack.
