    Mine's a 4". I originally ordered a Cobra R but it just wasn't as aggressive as I wanted, plus everyone has one. I was afraid the 4" would be too big but after seeing it on a 96 I thought it looked pretty mean.

    I bought my hood from H.O. Fibertrends in Ohio. It ran me $350-$375 plus shipping which was $80. The fit and quality were great and I have no complaints.

    Thanks for the compliments. It's come along way and its great to finally have it look the way I want. Now I just need to clear out some room in the garage so I don't have to leave it outside anymore, lol.

    I have a couple of guys I've had work on my car recently that do good work for a good price. He has a shop in Baytown he uses to work on his race car and also other car for extra cash. I'd imagine the most he would charge would be $350. I do know of a shop that wouldn't charge over $500 also.

    Good thing about having coil overs all the way around is being able to adust it to your taste.

    Weight Reduction

    Once you do the little things I would start with the bigger gains next. Swapping to a tubular k member setup will help out the most. Right now my car weighs about 3500 with me in it.

    They are obviously pricey but wondering if they are worth it? I currently have bbks but if the hp difference was decent, I might be interested in picking some up. I'm sure the quality is great but I'm more interested in the hp if I'm gonna swap. Anyone know?

    It comes with an outline of where to cut the wholes and at the time of the pic I hadn't done that yet. I finally did a couple of days ago, lol.

    The hood on my car is from H.O. Fibertrends in Ohio. It was only $375 or so and is much lighter than stock and seems very well built. To make it functional you have to cut out two marked holes but other than taking alittle time, it was very easy. Being my car is my only transportation...

    You'll definately get better with practice. I took my car to the track once recently and made a pass. I ran a 12.9x with a 2.0x 60 at 107mph. What bothered me most was the 107 and thought something was wrong. I put it on the dyno a couple of days later and found I was only making 307rwhp...

    How can I reduce engine heat?

    Actually you can't gap the TR8s. That made me kinda weiry at first with such a big shot but its never acted up.
