    www.mrt-direct.com has some ball-type knobs for the 05. I have one in my car. Be warned though, a few caveats: 1. The knob itself is threaded for an SN95 shift handle, M12x1.75, and has an adapter that's threaded into it so it'll fit the 05 handle. IMO, it's best to put some red loctite...

    Guys he's talking about the handle, not the knob. The handle on the stock shifter is one piece all the way down to where it connects to the rod that is connected to the transmission. The thread pitch on the stock shifter handle is 12mx1.25.

    Lowering, any panhard adj. needed?

    Some cars need it, some cars don't. My car shifted 3/4" to the right when I installed Eibach Pro's. A buddy of mine cut a coil off the rear springs on his 05 and had no rear end shift.

    Valve Train "ticking"

    If it's what I have, it's the injectors. They are noisy little buggers. I took one of those telescoping magnetic pick up things and used it kind of like a stethiscope (sp?). Every place on the engine has a nice mechanical "whir" if you will, but those injectors - tick tick tick tick tick tick.
