    I'll take it black with no stripes. Shelby or not, it's the next Cobra and with a blown 5.4, I'm in. That $h!t will be dropping 620hp to the ground before it has 5K miles.

    NOBODY has a Shelby GT500 ON ORDER! You maybe on a list promising you this and that, but when they are delivered everyone will see, it's either gonna get a premium tacked on or they are going to sit until they start selling for MSRP. There are not 7000+ collectors/"rich" people that want the car.

    It's just that, it's not the real numbers per say for particular SVT Dealers. "We are already receiving customer inquiries about GT500 availability as well as reports of dealers holding deposits for this car. Dealer allocation will not be announced until the first quarter of 2006."

    The Official name is The Shelby Cobra GT500 and it is the next SVT Cobra. Those who have power leased an 04 Cobra get first dibs on these cars.

    That's BS! They will charge over sticker for this car. Look at the intrest in it 1 yr out. Ford really can't even make Mustang GT's fast enough for the public.
