    I had a Yankee Candle air freshener that was "leather" scented. Sounds like it could be horrifying, but it wasn't bad actually.... You could always try using a good leather conditioner too. Some don't smell very good, but Lexol smells very rich and works awesome on the leather too.

    HUGE problem with my predator!!

    I have the same problem. I downloaded all the newest updates from Diablosport and still can't run just the Factory HP tune with only the gear ratios changed. So I put the Predator tune back in. I really don't think you're going to have any more problem with the predator tune than the factory...

    Wow -- apparently everything IS bigger in Texas -- including gear install prices. Up here in the Northeast everyone I've talked to has paid $200-250 for the install. (Which makes it about $400 or so total including the gears)

    I drive mostly suburban and back roads. Very little highway. When I put in my 3.90s, I dropped about 1 to 1.5 mpg average. My last couple of tanks averaged out to about 19 mpg. And this is with a Predator tune.

    No disrespect intended, but have you driven a GTO? I have, and they handle like crapola . They go like a scared cat, but handle like a lazy cow. My car with bone stock suspension handles better than a GTO. With your springs and tires it's no contest.

    Where was that? I lived in Mass back then and blasted all over the merrimack valley and northshore with my 87 GT, but don't remember hearing about that. Damn those Grand Nationals were fast -- those and late model Vettes were about the only things that could reliably kick butt on 87+ mustangs.

    What are you using on Leather for conditioning

    +1 for Lexol. I've used it for years on several different makes of cars. It has a nice rich leather smell, if you'd rather have that than "new car" smell.

    How-to: remove '02 headrests

    I used a cut open wire coat hanger when took out mine. Just push it down the groove till it stops, then give it a quick shove down and you should feel it click. Lift out the head rest. I replaced my stock headrests with "halo" headrests. Much better.

    While blizzaks do rock in the snow -- I made it through the snow last year (in new Hampshire) with a set of Continental ContiExtreme Contacts. They have the best snow rating of any high-performance All-season tire I've ever seen. Highly Recmommended.
