    I have pulleys on my Crown Vic and also have a Superchips tune. The tune raised the idle by 100 rpm to help offset any loss of alternator output. This may not be necessary on the Mustang, but is certainly an option if you are getting a tune.

    My dealer told me 8 to 10 weeks. But it all depends on his individual allocation, color, equipment level, etc. New-for-'06 options or colors could cause a delay. And your priority number is important, too. Lots of variables involved, in other words.

    I wouldn't worry so much about getting a ticket as I would about some ambulance-chasing lawyer who claims his client ran into you because your brake light was covered up. Think it can't happen? Think again.

    If you cover or remove the CHMSL, you are in violation of the law. Period. In the same way you would be in violation of the law if you disabled the brake lights or turn signals.
