    t top car were sent out of the factory with a solid roof and convertible doors to a aftermarket company to convert then to t-tops . cant remember the name of the company. so the doors are the same.

    there is a small pastic vacuum line that comes out of the firewall just above where you heater hoses go in the firewall. that is what controls the vents in the dash. should be a small pastic three way valve there then is goes to the main vacuum on the firewall and to vacuum ball in fender check...

    would not put them in parts cleaner.. Mine come out of a junk yard motor that got wet so I let mine set in automatic transmision fluid for a few day before instaling

    the 84 mustang has flattops with 4 valve reliefs dont know why they say it started in 86 because I have been in three 84 stock engines and all had flattops
