    will it be safe?

    I'm doing the same thing right now. Bumped the idle up 100 and it doesn't want to die on my anymore. The only other problem I'm having is I think the NGK TR6's I put in are wanting to foul out since the car is running rich.

    Spintech makes SFC's for side exhaust , I have a pair sitting under my bed. I know it works with Roush/Spintech and Steeda style exhaust but if you have a custom bent setup you would have to modify them.

    Leave the black cobras on , it looks BA man.:nice: You should get some of the all black center caps AM sells or at least a different style of center cap and put some black Duplicolor metalcast on the GT emblems to make them black chrome.

    Ive got the FRPP LSD which is the same as the 03 Cobras had. Way better than what the GT came with stock. Alternatively you could pick up a 31 spline locker from an Explorer and have it rebuilt with the FRPP CF clutch kit from AM. Would be the same as buying the Cobra locker but I don't know if...

    Sounds like a car we have in our shop right now. Personally I would leave the 2v for now and pick up mark 8 block and a new rotating assembly for it(maybe a 5.0 stroker kit). Find a set of decent heads and an intake and run that combo.

    Ive been in contact with a dyno tuner the past few days and hope to get that done in a week or two. I'm also curious to see what kind of times my car will run. Kinda wish I had a stall converter now but with the LT's it would be a PITA putting one in right now.

    They were good guys to deal with. It wasn't their fault that COMP misboxed them. I believe it was Bart that I dealt with. When he called me on Tuesday he asked how I liked them. I would recommend them to anyone with a 2V.:nice: Now if I can just get everything straightened out.
