    2 steps forward one step back...go to the parts store they make an oversize oil pan bolt that will cut new threads into the oil pan bolt hole as you install it. glad to hear you resolved the first problem...

    did you install a new flywheel and/or have it resurfaced? the spec clutch was installed with a new pressure plate...and what type of fluid did you use- GM synchromesh. did you use a spacer with the driveshaft? what did you use to line up tranny mount? i bought a tranny mount relocator for my tko500.

    you will free up a few horses by removing the ac pump and smog pump accessories and remove some weight...but do not remove the smog pump if you still have the cat. converters because this will cause the cats. to stop up.. does you state have emmission testing if so do not remove any smog...

    i talked to a tech at vortec yesterday and he recommended 30 lb injectors and fmu for 8-9 lb boost on my setup..
