    Possible Bad coilpack?

In regards to the Seafoam- I usually put one full can into the gas tank. If I put it in the oil, I run it about a hundred miles then change the oil. Putting a drinking straw into the Seafoam can help get it sucked up into the intake easier through the pcv. If enough is getting sucked up through...

    is 140,000 alot of miles?!!

I've got about 220,000 miles and it runs pristine, as good as new but probably better. Someone else posted his at 500,000+ miles and running strong.

    flowmaster exhuast

I believe the Flowmaster Force 2 system utilizes the Deltaflow 60 Series mufflers. Other options more aggressive sounding would be the FM 44's, 40, Original 40's, and 10's. Or look at several other companies that all provide "chambered mufflers", almost everyone makes one to suite the Mustang.

It's been done. I finally tackled the transmission and clutch this weekend. Yay!

Throw out bearing plus pilot bearing should always be replaced when a new clutch is put in. I got a SPEC billet steel flywheel off e-bay and installed it with a new clutch kit. The flywheel eliminated the vibration 100%. My starter has always made a noise and I inspected the teeth on it and...

    94 V6 Why So HOT!!!

Well, the fan should come on at the same temp all the time. Does the temp gauge go past the "R" in NORMAL? Did you remove the vent bolt when filling the system, filling it until fluid reaches the vent plug hole and then squeeze the upper rad hose to purge any air out while the car is running...

    Possible Bad coilpack?

Your testing of the coil is complete. I have tested them the same way without a secondary reading showing up. My gut feeling also is the O2 sensors- Check the three very brittle tubes to the EGR & upper intake. Lastly, to help eliminating a lot of second guessing- Do a Seafoam treatment the...

The Suspension is killing her ...

Bilstein or Koni struts/shocks. A close inspection my indicate a problem with other key components. Moderate overheating condition

Both issues- When filling the system with coolant you want the vent plug unthreaded and occasionally squeeze the upper hose to vent any air. With the car running, fluid should be added until it flows out of the vent plug hole. It also sounds as simple as a bad Thermostat. With the original stock...

    Mustang Hood Scoop Question

That's a tricky question because some of the 99-04 V6's came with GT or Cobra hoods from the factory dependent on years. Somebody will pipe in here and help answer your question soon. Good Luck!

    Tune Up Question

You can go ahead and replace them when you can afford it. If you don't have a history on the car, start one of your own. Slowly change all of the items out. Differential fluid is one that is neglected. Don't forget about that. Seafoam the gas tank and the upper intake manifold every 1500 miles...

2001 Mustang Conv. 3.8L sputtering sound????

I'm not exactly sure but sputtering in my experience has been spark plugs, fuel filter, and have you done a serious Seafoaming treatment lately? Otherwise, it almost sounds like you want to describe a steering mechanism failure or bearing issue of some kind, maybe ball-joint, or lastly...

    Tune Up Question

30k or 2years Replace fuel filter, replace trans fluid(5.6qts), replace coolant(11.8qts), replace brake fluid. 60k 4years spark plugs, differential fluid Clean the cai filter when you see it dirty. Some people live on dusty roads, some don't. Ya know?

Help for the sake of my Saleen Mustang

You will need a handheld tuner no matter what direction you decide to go with. Before getting into internals or blowers you need to have a free flowing true dual exhaust. A set of Ford Racing 3.73 gears (manual 5 speed) and a bearing kit installed. Find out which tuner your local Mustang dyno...
