Also check and make sure your fan is working. There was a recall a few years back where the fans would draw too much current and burn out

    500hp what radiator fan

the stock fan should clear if you remove the round metal plate (3 bolts) that's on the back of the fan motor. You could also step down to a 6 rib pulley setup??

what spark plugs to go with??

Autolite 3924 with stock gap. If it cuts out/misses at higher rpm, reduce the gap a bit.

Sparkplugs burning white on one side of the car

it's hard to see details in that pic. What do you mean by "white" The whole electrode and ground wire or just the insolator? I know if you have a slightly blown head gasket and burning coolant that would cause the plugs to look white.

Good news! New SN95 SFI Bellhousing.

I run a McLeod for a fox on mine....it fits both t-5 and tremec (has sliding mouting nuts on one side). They sell a 5/8" aluminum spacer plate that you run between the bell and the tranny if you're using a SN95 tranny. You do need a fox clutch fork though to get proper cable alignment, as the...

    Best shifter for a TKO-500?

My TKO 600 didn't come with a handle, only the shifter base and I have no problems with it at all. I like it better than the B&M Ripper I had on my t-5 Oh, BTW.....the TKO's have built-in, internal stops so you don't need them on the shifters.

Spec stg 3 will not grab please help

are there any leaks, like maybe the rear main seal getting oil on the clutch surface?? On a side note, you said it's an all new setup with only 200 miles on it. Tremec recommends a 500 mile break-in period before romping on the tranny

Spec stg 3 will not grab please help

actually, the stock, non-adjustable cables are about the best ones you can buy. Most of the aftermarket ones don't hold up well and end up breaking or stretching

    Problem Solved!!!!!

The spout connector can be gotten at a Ford dealer parts dept for about $3 I failed to plug mine back in years back and lost it. I used a small piece of speaker wire looped into a U shape with the ends stripped. All the spout connector is is a jumper that conncets the 2 leads in the harness...

    Car backfires when shifting.

True, but many people don't remove the smog pump and all the tubing/diverter valves when they run a non-catted pipe. So most have the provision to accomodate it.

    IAC the problem?

do you still have the EGR hooked up?? If you do, pull it off and clean it with carb cleaner....or buy a new one (pricey)...it might be sticking and will cause your car to idle poorly/stall

    Started car--idle issues

Is the IAC (idle air control valve) plugged in?? Do you have the O2 sensors installed and not close to the exhaust opening (my car won't idle when I try running open longtube headers because the o2's are only a couple inches from the end of the pipe).

Removal of low pressure hose at a/c compressor side?

that line you linked to up above isn't the line you need. When you unbolt the block from the back of the compressor there is 2 hoses connected to it....the other runs to the front of the car and across the top of the radiator and plugs in by the upper radiator hose. The hoses are pressed...

    IAC bypass?

that idle bleed set screw built into the TB's doesn't do jack for me if the IAC is unplugged, only when the IAC is plugged in. I'm currently working on getting a decent idle...mine is OK for a bit, but then will start hunting a bit unless I blip it. Also, I'm having a problem now and then...

    93 headers fit sn95?

unless you have a tuning device and can disable the EGR function you should keep it hooked up. With it plugged and still enabled, the EEC adds extra timing when it "opens" the valve and without getting the extra exhaust gases/air you will get more detonation

    long tube headers o/r h

I had both sets of MAC brand longtubes at the same time....one set for a '94/5, another for a fox, and was able to compare them both. The passenger side were exactly the same, but the drivers side were routed a bit different. On the fox model, the front 2 primaries bent down toward the frame...
