The door will open if the window freezes. Years down the road, I can see the windows coming out of the track being a problem.

The adjustable panhard bar will center the rear end, the two relocation brackets will correct thw lower control arms geometry, and one adjustable upper arm will fix the piinion angle.

Ball joints, dealer says I need new lowers

There is a TSB about the crappy ball joints and yes they will change the entire arm. The new arm has a slighlty larger ball joint. The TSB if for GT500's also, so do NOT waste your money on them. Another option is to use the Steeda X5 ball joint but you must have 18" or larger wheels.

    Roush vs. Cervinis

The Roush frt. and Cervinis side exhaust are great, but the hood doesn't match well. I would change the hood and lose the taped on side scoops, but it's your car, so do what trips your trigger.

Is this possible in a steering wheel?

I think the '11's have the radio buttons on the wheel. Maybe you could swap one out.

    2011 5.0L power capacity

I read an article from the engineer that helped design the engine and he said the rods were just strong enough. In other words, boost is a ticlking time bomb. The penny pinchers wouldn't go for stronger rods. A blower wouldn't be worth the expense since you have to keep the boost so low and a...

Front Ball joints gone only 34000 miles! 08

There is a TSB for this. They will replace the entire control arm with larger ball joints. Get it done while under warranty or it will cost about $1,000 out of pocket.

    ffrp hotrod cams w/ procharger?

All of the Comp cams dyno sheets I have seen lose alot of torque below 4500 rpm, then come on strong. The Hot Rods can be tuned as seen in MikeysOTP dyno sheet to not lose ANY power down low and start gaining at 3000 rpm. So Comp can claim more peak h.p. but I'd rather have the power through a...

    question on winter driving

Mine is my only car so it gets driven in everything. Recently had 8" of snow/ice mix and it never kept me from going anywhere. The only vehicle I saw stuck in the medium was a 4 wheel drive Jeep Grand Cherokee.:rlaugh:

Replacement cats for kooks x pipe??

Pypes and Magnaflow are two I've seen. They run $80- $90 each. I would call and make sure they will not cause a problem running two different cats if you're thinking of just replacing one.

What's different from the 05-'07 to the '08-'09??

The front lower control arm, hydro bushing, and ball joint were upgraded again in 2009;there is a tsb about replacing them due to squeak/grunts. There were changes to the routing of the coolant hoses in '07 or'08, not sure exactly when. As mentioned: redesigned head for plugs that don't...

    Ceramic, Chrome, Stainless Steel????

Ceramic is the best and most expensive. Not only will the finish last forever. but it has the added benefit of keeping the heat in the pipes for better flow and lower underhood temps. Chrome will usually discolor (turn blue). Stainless should last a long time but I think it might fepend on...

Anyone else having problems with lower ball joint wear ?

Walter, no, if you are under warranty, they will fix the problem free. A TSB just lets the idiots know how to do it. If warranty is up, then it's on your dime though.

RUSTY Rear Axle on the New Mustang GAG!

Its not just the axle but the entire frame that rusts up. It is butt ugly, but a fun project to coat with Eastwoods Rust Convertor. It's not a big deal now, but as an owner of a rusty 67 Mustang, I encourage you all to get under there and fix it for your grandchildren's sake.:D:D

Anyone else having problems with lower ball joint wear ?

Walter, as far as the TSB goes, yes you can check it yourself. This covers 2005-2009 Mustangs and 2007-2010 Shelby GT 500's built on or before 8/3/2009. Symptoms: grunt/creak noise over bumps, rough roads, driveway approaches. Diagnosis:Use chassis ears on lower control arm hydro bushing...
