    Whoa whoa- you dont have to pay for the intake to be replaced. Ford lost a major lawsuit and will replace your intake for free. I've already had mine done, and you can too at any Ford dealer. They will look in the OASIS for your car and see the note about intake replacement...

    IPOD woes

    iPods suck ass. My shuffle died after a few months, returned it for a Creative Zen Nano. Twice the memory, +lcd dispay, fm radio, voice recorder, line in, ONE dollar more. Plus it runs on AAA's that last forever so I dont gotta stick it in my computer all the time.

    Drop in is good if its all you can get, thats the biggest gain. But it doesnt hurt to remove the ripples in the TB pipe and remove the silencer. The fipk2 is a good piece and can be had on ebay for reasonable prices.

    Do you have a pic of the rim? You might be able to fix that part yourself if its not a large chunk.. but there is a good chance its warped anyway.

    Shortening the fuel line is the best way to help the lean spike. NX also came out with a small reserve fuel cell (like a syringe) that sat at the fuel rail tap that would probably fix it all together. Its called a Fuel Accumulator and the part number is SPEED00010.

    Most dealers can perform the transmission flush youre talking about, it runs detergents and clean oil through the whole system to make sure its all clean. It can be expensive though.. If you cant do that, a good routine fluid change is better than nothing. Rear end fluid you can do yourself...

    Somethings screwy in that Clifford alarm.. the factory antitheft isnt active, its completely passive. You can bust the window out and jam screwdrivers in the locks and it wont go off. All it does is refuse to start without the PATS (passive anti theft system) key with the transponder on it...

    I believe it applies to all vehicles with the TR3650 transmission (01-04). 00/earlier models have the T45.

    Have you had your car in for the T3650 TSB? There is a service kit free of charge to be installed on all T3650 trannys to get rid of a lot of strange grinding and clunking.

    You know that thing holds the car up, right? A small puncture from a nail in a sidewall can blow a tire out easily... and the last time I saw it happen live, the person lost control of the car at 50mph and hit the rail on the side of the highway.

    You cant patch a sidewall, its pretty much permenantly damaged. Even if you manage to get it to stay in place, its still not doing anything for the structural support of the sidewall - It'd be like glueing a brick to the side of a building thats been chiseled out.
