    holley intake

Shift recovery is normally where the buttometer can feel it the most, but if you dynoed the two you would see losses elswhere below ~5,200 rpm too that are harder to feel in the ole buttometer because the loss is fairly consistant across the rpm range. The Holley will obviously will pull better...

AFR head I cant believe this! WTF?

better yet, use a flashlight/inspection mirror and look into the holes after cleaning with spray solvent - then pull the head if needed. If it's small cracks, put some tape on bolts and close them up.

    Official GT40P headed 300rwhp thread!!!

I'm making a point - and I know of some AFR 185 head 351 engines that make more poer than that. I know of a 195cc 363 making 450 to the tires. My point - It's not good to generalize.

    stock MAF choking engine?

I can't tell you how many guys I see saying they for with more intake/head and TB with 19s but leave the stock 55mm MAF - when for cheap they can get the 70mm SN unit - I'd do it everytime in that case.

    gt40 port sizes ? who knows ?

The GT40 family of intakes have the part number that ends in "-BA" or "-AA". The AA lowers have a little more runner exit section - good tip for 100% stock classes if you don't want to cheat. The BA is .96"x1.65" and the AA is ~1.00" x 1.80"

    Stock Mustang Dyno'd - Lean?

I meant power, not A/F. If you richen up some you can get some HP from it but don't expect a ton. Yes, we still do quite a bit of port work.
