    Waterneck, even the stock one will leak if the rubber hose isn't pushed all the way down and tightened right.

    You using a 75 mm tb ? in that case your better with the 3" pipe, since 75mm = 2.95" Heres a pic of mine, the fender has not been grinded yet, but I know I can get it better than this. [/IMG]

    Actually you can get grind some of the fender out, and have no turns on the pipe or the couplers, less turbulance, as soon as the weather gets better i'll post pics.

    Rear main seal

    I put in a TEFLON rear main seal on mine got in for 15 bucks at autozone. I put my rear main seal flush with the block, and it's working great, Don't forget thread sealant on the flexplate bolts.

    I had the same problem a long time ago. I replaced the EGR and still got the same code. The problem was those 2 plastic/tube lines that go into the fender.

    What type of gaskets do you guys use for the drain plugs on the oil pan ? vynil/plastic sold at the local parts store, or the ones with rubber that can only be purchased at Ford ?

    On a similar note: Would you guys recommend using rubber gaskets for the oil drain plug's (theres 2 of them, im pretty sure rubber ones were used from the factory) or can any plastic, vynil gasket be used for drain plugs.

    engine to transmission plate is it important ?

    After looking at the number of views, and no responces, I decided to put it back, jacked the trans down, unbolted the flexplate bolts, put the engine plate in, thread locked the bolts, what a pain. Transmission goes back in next week.

    If I could only edit my post from couple days ago. Tealstang, my torque converter hub is centered. The measurement I got from the mounting face pads (pads on torque converter that are bolted to the flexplate) to the bellhoising is .950 thousanths, really close to 1 inch. Which I should be ok...

    people who have installed a Torque converter, need some help.

    the second picture has the tranmission pump seal and the shaft that goes into the torque converter. I put a 6" ruller (pic) as far as I could into the transmission, and I wouldn't go farther than the 2" depth. my torque converter shaft is about 3". gonna try to install in again tomorrow.
