    The gearing on the 3550 is more aggressive and the tranny is built to handle more horsepower. I'm not sure what the exact numbers are though.

    He's not talking about the fuse inside the fuse panel but a resistor inside the motor itself. You will have to open up the motor cover and change the resistor inside it.
