Man, this guy would have been better off walking into a den of hungry bears with his little peepee hanging out then walking in here with this attitude...

    trans am

I believe the actual saying you were looking for is "burst your bubbles." Secondly I would actually love to see you drag against some of the machines on here... What some of these guys have for cars is pretty scary AND they know how to drive them too.

    trans am

It's one thing to want to hear both sides. It's another thing entirely to come onto a Mustang posting board and start slamming the cars that so many of these people own. If you took some time to learn from these people you would learn just how powerful that 4.6L you have can be. Sure the...

 They stopped for the Corvette??? Why the hell would you say that? Do you think that GM didn't want to have two high performing, high selling cars in it's inventory...oh wait a minute...they didn't sell too well did they...sorry.

I absolutely love the 2004 Trans Am... :lock:

    trans am

Dude! If the Trans Am never lost it's "edge" why is it discontinued? I will give the F-Body's respect where they deserve it (remember I currently own a Pontiac) but do you really think they have been that strong? Did you forget those horrible V8's GM was producing between '81 - '92? And...

Can someone just lock this thing. It's gotten pretty pointless...

    trans am

Someone lock this...it's pointless. By the way, has anyone went to a Pontiac dealership lately? I haven't seen too many Trans Am's there. They must be all sold out...or no longer in production... Hmmmm....

    Blizzaks

To get these a cheap price I would recommend doing exactly as jesse has done. Get a cheap set of V6 rims or even basic 15" steel rims and put a set of Blizzacks on those. For the best possible case you will want to get tires that aren't as wide as you have during the summer (wide tires grip at...

    CAI waste

That's very true how they don't add much hp to cars with big engines like the Mustang. For imports and small domestics it can actually be quite impressive with some of the gains. From what everyone on here says, they are a complete waste for the 4.6L.

    removed catback issues?

It could be dangerous if you don't have cats that are operating properly because of the fumes going into the cab of the car, but other than that you will be fine...but oh so noisy! Glad I don't have to follow you!

Latest Renders - You aren't going to believe these

Sometimes these cars remind me somewhat of the old Mustang II King Cobras...don't know exactly what it is about it. I guess we won't all know until they are right in front of us.

New thicker oil = bad gas milage?

Your air filter will also have an impact on things so I think it may be a combination of both items. When you say back to stock filter do you mean a brand new stock filter or the one that had some miles on it before you switched the K & N? Because an old paper filter flows as well as cardboard...

    Synthetic Oil Question

Most modern engines are optimized to run on 5W/30 no matter the weather conditions, so I wouldn't change it too drastically.

Yes, just depends on the brand they use but these are all pretty common mods that most chips do.

    3:73 gear question

The friction modifier is added to the regular fluid and helps the new metal items seat better more quickly. This way it won't take as long for you to break in those new gears and you can then really test them out sooner. :nice:

    Lugnut torque specs?

Yeah, as long as you tighten them with the bar that came with the car you will be fine. Whatever you do, don't use an impact tool. I've seen some people stranded on the highway because the idiots at the shop they brought it to tightened them with a high powered tool. Makes you wonder who...
