    2011 Mustang GT Exhaust Opinions

I stayed stock w/my 2010 'vert. So damned sick of mind-numbing highway drone w/my previous Mustangs, and all the "there's no drone" or "there's only minimal drone" testimony on this & other forums were BS. I used Borlas on two previous Mustang 'verts.in the past. Some have said there really is...

Have just installed hardtop on 2010 GT convertible

The hardtop should've accomodated the 'verts rear side windows instead of imitating the fixed window look of the coupe---would've looked 10X better.

    Rear Deck Blackout Panels

I bought one of those magnetic cheapo panels. Looks good from 25' away, but is slightly discolored & starting to curl at the edges. I'd like to get a better quality, good fitting stick-on type that retains the pie plate trunk emblem----a thin one,if possible. I notice most of the ads are for the...

Can daughter fit in back seat? ('11/'12)

I'm 6'2" and run w/the seat all the way back. Your daughter would have to be a double amputee to fit in the back of my 2010 vert. Get two cars---one for family;one for fun.

    New Winter Rubber

There's a less expensive quality way to go. I bought a set of one year old 18" Blizzaks off Craig's list for just $200.00 Our tire size is common on high line luxury cars, whose owners change them as often as we change our socks, making their extra snow tires surplus. New Konig Beyond rims...

Spongy gas pedal inherent with drive by wire---is there a fix?

Saw a new "plug & play" product on TV---supposedly won an award for "best" at SEMA---that just might correct the dead gas pedal feel in our drive-by-wire Mustangs. It's called sprintbooster, and they have a website, but no way to price them or buy them. Anyone using it yet????

Gas Prices Going Crazy---Running on Regular?

What's the problem in running regular---I hear the computer can adjust to it. What's the drop off in power & fuel economy?

    Side window Louvers

Bought a spoiler from them---good paint match, good build quality & GREAT price.

Aftermarket Rims & Hub Centric Rings

The Mustang does indeed have tapered lug nuts, as does the seats in the rim. I see the logic of your explanation---still, they used these centering shims when they mounted the tires---I guess they aren't really necessary

All Weather Floor Mats for Winter

The Ford ones have a lip. My dealer threw in a set when I bought my Mustang. Just ask before you write the check---works wonders.

Aftermarket Rims & Hub Centric Rings

I have a set of 18" Konig Beyonds mounted with Bridgestone Blizzaks that I run in the winter. Unlike the stock Ford 19s I use the rest of the year, they require a plastic centering shim (72-7050) to take up the slight (2.12mm) gap around the center hole. The Konig center hole is ever so slightly...

    A sad, depressing day

Buy another set of rims & some Blizzaks---worked on my '95 & it had alot of HP. Are you keeping yours for a museum? Life is too short to drive a S---box all winter long.

    Removing rear decklid trim panel

If trim panel means that puny litttle spoiler, it is held on by 2-sided tape & 4 bolts---ergo, there will be 4 holes left behind when you unbolt it & pry it off---which takes a lot of careful prying with a putty knife.

    MGP Caliper Covers

Bullit Rims a Problem? I looked at the website, and they want another $15 for 1/4" spacers to specifically clear Bullit rims. Don't know why Bullit is singled out. I use two sets of rims---19" stockers, which I guess are OK, and 18" Konig Beyonds, which are for winter. If they clear the...

    Decklid Blackout Panel Options

I bought the magnetic one---basically because it was real cheap & I wanted to see how it looked. And on a white vert w/a black top it does look pretty good. So now I'm ready for a better quality upgrade. Uncertain as to "pie plate" emblem retention or no pie plate, ribs, flat or honeycomb...
