    If you want it corrected, you'll have to take it back in. They need to set the steering wheel straight, and re-adjust the toe.

    If its what I think it is, thats excellent news. Looks like an intake that will finally make the 5.4 swaps efficient. Before all we had was adapter plates, or tall hoods. Now all anyone needs is the 5.4 shortblock, your stock heads and this intake and you're good to go. Hello 50 more cubes!

    Unfortunately, every time I have ever had a customer with any kind of noise that you are describing when turning, its a bad power steering pump. If you are sitting at a standstill and you turn the wheel and it makes the noise, take the belt off and do the same thing; if the noise goes away...

    Does the car drive straight? How are the tires wearing? I HIGHLY doubt that it's the alignment causing your tires to rub. The alignment will consequently be out of spec of course, but your problem is likely not due to normal wear and tear from driving. Going by your description...

    spark plugs 03 gt

    +1 The factory plugs are rated for 100k. I replaced mine at 90k; the stock ones were perfectly fine and it made no difference.

    What gauges to get...

    If oil pressure is a must, along with that I would do A/F and water temp. Cant see why you would need anything more than that unless you just wanted a bunch of guages.

    Sounds like an alignment issue to me. Most of the time its toe that causes the condition you are describing.

    tires / traction

    Even if you stuff a 315 tire in there its not going to stick like you want it to. Unless you're going to run drag radials, you're going to need some suspension upgrades. Tires alone wont make it grip.

    I'm a tech at toyota, and can tell you this "technology" is already on some of their factory vehicles. They dont advertise it, its just in our new model technical review. Reason of it is to make the vehicle quiter, and allow sufficient flow when demanded.

    About Changing Brake Pads ...

    The answer to your question is no, you dont have to do the rear. Mine had new brakes (I think) when I got my GT. Put about 50-55k on it before I changed the fronts. All depends how you drive the car.
