T5 Swap - Clutch Fork Cover Modification

That's exactly how I did mine. It doesn't make sense to just leave it open when the cover can be made to work in less than five minutes.

What header to use in the $150 range

My vote goes to a good set of tri-y headers. After bashing the tubes in on several sets of long tube over the years due to ground clearance problems on my lowered '67, I had no problems with the tri-y. And you'll probably have a little more bottom end torque with the Tri-Y. I recently spent the...

    attach Eleanor panel ?

kit Most people are blending in the seams like Unique is doing on the GT 500E. With the way these fiberglass parts fit, it would take a lot of work to get every thing to line up and fit right like the movie car. The upper valance just bolts into the stock headlight bucket locations. If you...

    Rebuilt engine making clicking sound

There are several things that could cause the noise that you describe Here's a few things to check. Exhaust leak at the header gasket, Arcing plug wire, If you put in roller rockers with stock valve covers the rockers can come in contact with the valve covers. Also were the small plugs installed...

    Which Headers????

Tri-y's Are great for stock to mildly built engines. The fit is probably the best you can get from a header - no ground clearance problems like long tube headers.

I was able to use the under-ride bars with my TCP subframe connectors.

    underide vs overide trac bars

I agree , go with the under ride bars. Easier to install & work really well. You can install them when you put in the new springs. Settling does't affect them as they are attached to the lower plates.

Brake Guru's...Need a Bit Of Advice.

Your problem is your master cylinder. The stock master can't handle the extra volume needed for the 4 wheel disks. You'll need to find a larger bore master that will fit.

    supercharge on carb

If you are going to keep the serpentine belts, you can just do what I did. Get a supercharger kit for the 5.0 and get a carb hat. You'll need a single plane intake and a modified mechanical secondary carb.

    roller pitman/idler

Roller I've been searching for a rollor idler for my '67. I've checked all of my usual aftermarket performance suspension retailers including Cobra Automotive with no luck. Only 65/66. If someone made a 67/70 version, they would probably sell well.

    66' 347 supercharger?

Blow thru Here's some general info since I don't know your specifics. Dual plane manifolds don't work well - single plane only. Run spark plugs 2 heat ranges cooler than stock. On the carb - Mechanical secondaries only, Nitrophyl floats, mill the air horn. Decrease timing - 28 degrees total...

    zaino review

zaino I agree, you are using too much. It should wipe right off. Also make sure it is totally dry before you wipe it off. If you are using the ZFX accelerator it should dry fairly quickly. I did my car last month at 60 degrees and it dried in about 10 minutes.

    Best wax?

best wax IMO the best wax out there is Zaino. The shine is incredible and it lasts longer than just about anything available. It lasts about 6 months. The prep work is a little time consuming- wash, clay bar, wash- but the wax goes on and wipes off easier than anything that I have used. I...

    Supercharger question . . .

Blow thru supercharger You will have to get the compression down to run that much boost. A well built blow through carb is also recommended as is a BTM to control your timing. I don't know if you'll get 10 psi with the paxton kit. The carb enclosures don't seem to work as well as the good hats...
